An eyewitness description of the finding of the most important corroboration of the Bible story of the period of the Kingdom of Judah, will be given by Sir Charles Marston, British writer, over an NBC-WEAF network at 6:15 o’clock Wednesday evening, it was announced yesterday.

The discovery of the Hebrew tablets, confirming the modern version of Biblical history for that period, has been described as the most important archaeological contribution since the finding of the Amarna records in the 1880’s.

Sir Charles will explain the significance of the writings, and will describe how the ancient tablets were unearthed a short time ago by a British expedition headed by J. L. Starkey, at Tel Ad-Duweir, ancient Lachish, midway between Beersheba and Gaza. The writer, who only recently arrived in New York from the expedition near Jerusalem, will speak from NBC’s Radio City studios.
