A Purim dance will be held march 3at the Temple Israel Community Center by the Inter University Committee for the Aid of Jewish Student Refugees under the direction,advisor to Jewish students Rabbi Baruch Braunstein,advisor to Jewish students at Columbia University. The dance is the first of a series of functions to raise funds to aid German Jewish student refugees.
The organization is attempting to ameliorate the condition of student refugees through the building of a Jewish student hotel and a dormitory at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Among the Colleges represented are Columbia, City College, New York University,Hunter,Brooklyn and Aelphi .Herman L. Sainer is general chairman of the committee.
