The sum of $32,500 is bequeathed to charitable institutions in the will of the late Mrs. Nettie D. Lasker, mother of Albert D. Lasker of Chicago, former chairman of the United States Shipping Board.
Mrs. Lasker whose estate was evaluated at $558,173, left the sum of $25,000 to be disposed of among her executors among charities selected by them.
The sum of $5,000 was bequeathed to the Lasker Home for Homeless Children and $2,500 to the Galveston Playground Association.
