William Dudley Pelley, former leader of the anti-Semitic Silver Shirts movement who was convicted of wartime sedition, has lost a new appeal for release from the Federal Penitentiary, it was reported today. Federal Judge Matthew McGuire rejected Pelley’s request for a review of a parole board decision declining his release. Pelley has served five years of a 15-year prison term.
