Funeral services were held here today for William Hordes, one of Detroit’s most distinguished Zionists, who died here at the age of 71. Born in Russia, Mr. Hordes came to the United States in 1914, and was active in the Labor Zionist movement. He was honorary president of the Detroit Jewish National Fund, and a former secretary of the Jewish Community Council of Detroit.
