Wind Drives Away Locusts, Saves Crops in Palestine

Danger of an onslaught on Palestine crops by a horde of locusts was averted when a wind swept the pests away toward the southeastern desert.

A horde of locusts appeared near Petra. The Palestine Government despatched experts to save the crops but the danger had passed when they arrived.
