Henry Wineman, president of the Jewish Welfare Federation of Detroit, was named by the City Council of Detroit, upon the motion of Councilman Fred W. Castator, to the board of Wayne County Supervisors. Mr. Wineman, who is Detroit’s leading Jewish communal leader, fills the vacancy caused by the resignation from the board of former Mayor John C. Lodge.
