A gift of $100,000 for the establishment of a playground and a Nachlah outside Tel Aviv has been made to the Jewish National Fund by Isaac Solomon and Mrs. Solomon of this city, the JNF has announced. A Nachla is an agricultural settlement where the residents raise their own food, and export the surplus for building of recreational and manufacturing facilities. Both Mr. and Mrs. Solomon have been active in the work of the Jewish Congress, the Welfare Fund of Winnipeg their synagogue and Histadrut, in addition to their activities on behalf of the Jewish National Fund.
