M. Mendelson, won the prize in a swimming contest in the St. Lawrence River. The race covered a distance of thirty miles.
Mr. Mendelson, it was announced, will participate in the swimming meet at the Canadian National Exhibition in which George Young, winner of the Catalina Island swim, will also compete.
