The twenty-fifth anniversary of the German Jewish society for the promotion of the Wissenschaft des Judentums will be celebrated here on November 11. Jewish scholars in America are expected to attend the celebration.
The society was formed in the time when Jewish scholars in Germany were under the influence of Bible high criticism and particularly when Friederich Delitsch issued his book, “Bible und Babel”.
