With the coming of Alfredo Salmaggi’s Chicago Opera Company to the Broadway Theatre for a season of 90-cent top grand opera on Saturday night, March 31, the name will be changed to the Broadway Opera House. It is the intention of Maestro Salmaggi to establish the Broadway as a permanent home of opera.
