With the signing this week of Vera Caspary, novelist, playwright and scenarist, Columbia Pictures has added another to the long list of authors now writing exclusively for the company, Miss Caspary’s work includes “Ladies and Gents,” “White Girl.” “Music in the street” and “Thicker Than water”; ” Blind Mice,” a stage play produced by Crosby Gaige, and screen plays, “Night of June 13.” released by Paramount and “Odd Thursday,” which fox films will shortly screen.
