A gift of 50,000 pounds sterling ($140,000) from the Wolf-son Foundation to equip an ORT training school in Tel Aviv was announced here today by Gabriel Sacher, chairman of British ORT.
The school, one of a network of new apprenticeship centers being established in Israel by ORT in conjunction with the Israeli Ministry of Labor, will provide vocational training for about 4,500 students annually.
