The second of a series of citywide mass meetings designed to intensify the consumers’ boycott of German goods and services will be held Sunday evening at the Jewish Center Academy, 1295 Far Rockaway boulevard, Far Rockaway, under the joint auspices of the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League to Champion Human Rights and a local committee of Christian and Jewish organizations. The first of these meetings was held Feb. 18 at the Grand Street Boys’ Association Clubhouse, 106 West 55th street.
Representative William F. Brunner, member of Congress from the Far Rockaway district, will be the chairman. The principal speakers will be Matthew Woll, vice-president of the American Federation of Labor, and Stanley H. High, contributing editor of the Literary Digest and former managing editor of the Christian Century.
