The Women’s Division, Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, will extend its roll call to June 14. It is conducted in connection with the Federation’s $500,000 annual campaign. The division is seeking to add 10,000 contributors. Mrs. Nathan L. Goldstein is general chairman of the roll call and County Judge Algeron L. Nova heads the campaign.
Although the roll call was to terminate May 31, by which time, Mrs. Goldstein announced, some $3,000 was brought in, so many prospects have been developed that it was decided to prolong it.
Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, president of the Federation, praised the work of the women in the roll call which is instrumental in interesting new people in the work of the organization on behalf of constituent Charities.
It was also announced on behalf of the Junior Federation, through its president, Irving P. Kartell, that the Year Book will be issued late this month, containing the history of the group’s five years and other information. The Juniors are planning a marine-sport dance at the Half Moon Hotel, Coney Island, on June 16.
ACCOUNTANTS RAISE $2,500
One half of its quota of $2,500 in the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities $500,000 campaign has been raised to date by the Accountants’ Division, it was announced last night by David Berdon, chairman of the group A Partial list of contributions released at the same time was as follows:

KOSHER PROVISION CONCERN ACCUSED OF OFFERING NON-KOSHER MEATS
Preparations are under way for the trial of the Neboh Kosher Provision Co. case in the Special Sessions Court in the near future, following the denial of a writ of habeas corpus by Justice Meier Steinbrink in the Brooklyn Supreme Court.
The case grew out of a complaint made by a member of the office of Arthur Simon, Confidential investigator of the Department of Health.
The firm and its president, Abraham Kaufman, were accused of having for sale four barrels of non-kosher briskets and four barrels of tongues.
