Mrs. Israel Goldstein will preside over a conference of national and local organizations of Jewish women at Temple Emanu-El, Fifth avenue and Sixty-fifth street, at 2:30 P.M. today. Methods of bringing before American Jewish women the message of the Jewish National Fund, the agency of the Zionist movement dedicated to acquisition and reclamation of Palestinian soil as national property, will be discussed.
Mrs. Goldstein is chairman of the Jewish National Fund committee on cooperation with women’s organizations. Rabbi Milton Steinberg of Park Avenue Synagogue and Mrs. David de Sola Pool will speak.
Women from the following organizations will participate: Ivriah, Women’s League of the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations, Pioneer Women’s Organization, Mizrachi Women’s Organization, Hadassah, Women’s League of the United Synagogue of America Women’s League for Palestine, Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations, National Council of Jewish Women, and delegates from various sisterhoods and ladies’ auxiliaries of congregations within the metropolitan area.
