Mass meetings preliminary to organizing for participation in the national elections to be sponsored by the American Jewish Congress on April 28 will be held today by the Brooklyn and Bronx chapters of the women’s division of the Congress.
Brooklyn will be entitled to elect seventy-seven of a total of 176 delegates allotted to Greater New York, a number greater than that allowed to any of the other boroughs.
Dr. Anna W. Hochfelder will be inducted as chairman of the Brooklyn division at tonight’s meeting, at Brooklyn Jewish Center, Eastern Parkway.
The Bronx session will be held this afternoon at Mount Eden Center. Forty-two delegates have been allotted to the Bronx.
