A call for a conference of representatives of Jewish women’s organizations to consider ways and means of redeeming land in Palestine was issued here yesterday by a special committee of which Judge Anna Moscowitz Kross is the Chairman and Mrs. Rebecca Kohut, Honorary Chairman.
The conference, which will take place on April 9 in the assembly hall of Temple Emanu-El is expected to lay concrete plans for the cooperation of women’s organizations with the Jewish National Fund, with a view to making available new areas to accomodate the needs of the ever growing influx of immigrants and refugees entering Palestine.
