Women’s Aid Asked for Reich Mothers

Mrs. Richard Percy Limburg, chairman of the Women’s Division of the United Jewish Appeal, appealed Friday to American Jewish women for aid to Jewish mothers of Germany on this Mother’s Day by contributions to the Appeal’s fund for settling German Jewish refugees in Palestine.

Speaking at a tea given by Mrs. Sol Rosenbloom at the Sherry Netherlands Hotel, Mrs. Limburg said in part:

“In Germany today thousands of Jewish mothers are bravely striving to conceal their dismay and fear in comforting their children who have suddenly found themselves humiliated and friendless.
