Women’s Clubs Here to Push Anti-nazi Work

Leading women’s organizations throughout the city will join this fall in the work of the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League, of which Samuel Untermyer is president, it was announced yesterday by Mrs. Mark Harris, chairman of the Women’s Division.

A meeting of all community and club leaders of greater New York has been called by Mrs. Mary T. Fitzpatrick, prominent charity and welfare worker and only woman member of the Alcholic Beverage Control Board. The meeting, which will be held in the home of Mrs. Fitzpatrick this week, will discuss ways and means of furthering the boycott of Nazi goods in this country, and will especially seek to incerase consumer resistance to German products among women.

In resuming its fall activities, the women’s division has called a joint meeting of its Stuyvesant Gramercy Park and Lower Manhattan sections at the Medical Alliance, 335 East Eighteenth street next Tuesday night. Mrs. Julius Ferber is chairman for Manhattan.

A meeting of the Pelham Parkway women’s division, of which Mrs. Temy Grossman is chairman, will be held next Monday evening at the Pelham Parkway Jewish Center, 710 Lydig Ave., the Bronx. Mrs. Harris will address both meetings.
