An initial contribution of $225,000 has been presented by the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods to the Union of American Hebrew Congregations for the purchase of an appropriate site and equipment for the “House of Living Judaism,” national center of Reform Judaism to be erected here, it was announced by Jacob Aronson, chairman of the board of the U.A.H.C. A check for this amount was presented yesterday to Mr. Aronson and Dr. Maurice N. Eisendrath, president of the union, at the organization’s headquarters here.
