Women’s Zionist Division Formed to Aid United Palestine Appeal in N.Y.

A Woman’s Division of the United Palestine Appeal was organized at a meeting of representatives of the New York City chapter of the Hadassah Organization and the Keren Hayesod Women’s League, Emanuel Neumann, chairman of the Executive Committee of the United Palestine Appeal announced yesterday.

Mr. Neumann announced that Mrs. Anna Moskowitz Kross, has been appointed chairman of the Women’s division, which will include the New York City Chapters of Hadassah and the Keren Hayesod Women’s League. Mrs. Louis Petchesky was appointed chairman for Brooklyn.

The Women’s Division has assumed a quota of $250,000 in the New York campaign and represents a union of forces by Hadassah, of which Mrs. Irma Lindheim is president, and the Keren Hayesod Women’s League, headed by Mrs. Richard Gottheil.
