Construction of a $500,000 addition to Temple Emanuel here to provide a considerable expansion of the temple’s facilities, will commence in September, it was announced today.
The new wing will add 15 classrooms, a nursery school room, a larger library, meeting rooms and administrative offices and a vestry seating 1,300. In the construction, the present capacity of the chapel will be doubled. The entire edifice will be air conditioned.
