Shop chairmen and executive members of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and the United Hebrew Trades will hold a conference on the evening of June 25 in Town Hall to take steps to strengthen the anti-Nazi boycott movement being waged in protest against maltreatment of Jews and workers in Germany.
Delegates from Workmen’s Circle branches, women’s clubs, Workmen’s Circle schools, Jewish Socialist Verband branches, the Forward Association and other labor organizations will attend.
The conference also will discuss plans to curb Nazi propaganda in America. More than 1,000 persons are expected. Official delegates’ cards are being given out from the offices of the Jewish Labor Committee, 175 East Broadway.
