Three leaders of the local Kehillah in Samara, Central Russia, received sentences of six months’ imprisonment on the charge of having exploited Jewish workers in the Kehillah factory.
The court recognized the complaint of the workers that they received low pay and that the factory was not provided with sanitary equipment. Six of the Kehillah leaders who were also tried were acquitted.
