Leaving no known heirs George Feingold, late of Hartford. Connecticut, and a familiar figure in the office buildings in which he solicited umbrella repair work, directed in a will filed in the Probate Court that his estate be bequeathed to charity.
In the document the testator expressed a desire “That any person who shall render services caring for me and attending to my comfort haring my last years of life shall be suitably compensated.” Specific bequests were made to the Hebrew Ladies Old People’s Home. The Hebrew Women’s Home of Children, the Mr. Sinai Hospital of Hartford, the United Jewish Charities, Daimud Doran, the Hartford Workman’s Sick Benefic Society. The estate which is estimated to be worth $10,000 leaves the entire residue to charities which have been named above in proportionate shares.
