The International Bank for Reconstruction reported today in a periodic financial statement that it has negotiated loans with Israel for the nine-month period ending March 31, 1962 totaling $52, 500, 000.
The funds include loans for projects previously announced–$27, 500, 000 for the port development and construction project at Ashdod and $25, 000, 000 for a Dead Sea potash development program. The report showed that to date, only $1, 900, 000 had been disbursed.
