The Conference of Jewish Organizations founded in Rome last January, met at the Hotel Delmonico here yesterday. The Conference comprehensively reviewed the status of Jews in a certain number of problem areas. This was its first meeting since Rome.
Organizations participating in the conference include: The American Jewish Congress, B’nai B’rith, Board of Deputies of British Jews, Canadian Jewish Congress, CRIF (Consell Representatif des Juifs de France), DAIA, central representative body of the Jews in Argentina, the Executive Council of Australian Jews, the Jewish Labor Committee, the South African Board of Jewish Deputies and the World Jewish Congress.
Dr. Judd L. Teller, of New York City, was named secretary of the Conference. Its next meeting is scheduled for October in London.
