Label A. Katz, president of B’nai B’rith, today denied a report that at the recent World Conference of Jewish Organizations in Paris a number of participants “expressed dissatisfaction over the occasional practice of Israeli Government leaders in claiming to speak on behalf of all Jewry.”
Mr. Katz also denied that he was authorized by the conference to bring the issue to the attention of Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. He pointed out that since the subject was not mentioned at the conference, there was obviously no basis for any such authorization.
