A resolution aimed at preventing the dissemination of information fomenting racial and national hatred vas adopted here today at the World Conference on Freedom of Information by a committee which is preparing a code for freedom of the press.
The resolutions also urges member states of the United Nations to take “appropriate measures to encourage the broadest dissemination of such information calculated to develop friendly relations between races and nations based on the objective and principles of the U.N. Charter.”
