Moroccan authorities were urged today by the World Jewish Congress to check inciting anti-Jewish propaganda now being disseminated mainly by the Moroccan press.

The organization also called on the Moroccan Government to defend Moroccan Jews from such acts as kidnaping of Jewish girls, unjustified arrests, maltreatment of Jews by police and similar acts, and to safeguard fully the civil and human rights of Moroccan Jewry.
