Describing Dr. Paul Clauberg, who headed the Nazi Medical Experimental Center at the Auschwitz concentration camp and who was returned from the Soviet Union to Western Germany earlier last week, as “one of the worst of the Nazi war criminals,” the World Jewish Congress called upon the Bonn Government this week-end to try him immediately. The organization thus backed its affiliate, the Central Council of Jews in Germany, which had issued a similar demand. Clauberg headed an “experimental” project at Auschwitz that sterilized several hundred Jewish women.
