World Jewish Congress President Edgar Bronfman said Switzerland “may be getting serious” about a global settlement to all claims arising from the Nazi gold dispute. Bronfman also said the group’s secretary-general, Israel Singer, went to Switzerland following last week’s London gold conference to discuss the idea with the Swiss.
