World Jewish Congress Sends Representative to Europe to Confer with Jewish Leaders

Dr. Maurice L. Perlzweig, head of the political Department of the World Jewish Congress, left by air for Europe to confer with Jewish leaders in London, Geneva and East European countries on problems which will be discussed at the forthcoming peace conference.

The World Jewish Congress today reported that Primo Villa Michel, the Mexican Minister of the Interior, has received its general secretary, Dr. A. L, Kubowitzki, who relied upon him in the company of G. Shapiro, president of the Central Jewish Committee of Mexico, and Dr. Joseph Zylver, professor of the National University of Mexico. The Minister conveyed the best wishes of his government for a speedy solution of the Jewish refugee problem and for the establishment of a Jewish National Home in Palestine.
