The International Committee for Human Rights in the Soviet Union announced last week that it will publish a detailed report and map of Soviet prisons and labor camps. According to Hubert Halin, a committee spokesman, this was the main project decided on at the International Symposium on the 50th anniversary of the Soviet Union which was devoted to reports of the situation of Jews in the USSR.
