Capt. E.S. Linstead, chairman of the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA), is urging the public to boycott a book by Leila Khaled, the Palestinian terrorist who participated in an attempt to hijack an El Al airliner over Britain three years ago. Capt. Lin-stead warned that the book would probably glamorize and encourage others to commit the same crime. He castigated the book’s publisher. Hodder & Stoughton, for distributing the book at a time when “all sections of aviation and all state governments consider the hijacking menace to be one of the most serious problems facing aviation today.”
