A provisional 1957 budget of $4,529,300 was placed before a meeting of the executive of the World ORT Union here today.
Meanwhile, the executive decided to defer the election of a new world president to succeed the late Dr. Aron Syngalowski, one of the founders and leading lights of the ORT Union. It was decided that a new president be named at next year’s meeting of the executive. A six man policy making committee was appointed for the interim period. It will be headed by Prof, William Haber, president of the American ORT Federation.
