A program providing for expanding ORT activities in North Africa, Israel, Iran and Italy during 1951 was adopted here today at a meeting of the central executive of the World ORT Union.
A report of the organization’s activities revealed that 1,200 persons are receiving training this year in ORT institutions in Israel and that the total will rise to 1,500 before the end of the year. In all programs in all countries there are a total of 22,813 students enrolled for the 1949-50 school year, the report added.
