A world conference of Sephardic Jews will be held in London next May, it was announced here today at the annual meeting of the representatives of Spanish and Portuguese synagogues held under the chairmanship of Sir Francis Montefiore.
The aim of the conference will be to unite all Sephardic congregations of the world. No political matters whatsoever will be discussed at this conference, it was made clear in today’s announcement.
