Dr. Abraham Granott, world president of the Jewish National Fund, left for Israel today after a stay in this country of six weeks. In a statement issued prior to his departure, he said that he was impressed with the fact that the Jewish community in the United States “has come to realize the great role which America and American Jewry must play in the strengthening and development of the Jewish state.”
Mr. Elias M. Epstein, Overseas Director of the J.N.F. in Jerusalem, who accompanied Dr. Granott, is extending his stay in the U.S. in connection with the expansion of long range activities of the Fund.
