World Union for Liberal Judaism Completes Organization; Officers Chosen

Prominent Americans Elected to Executive Board (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The organization of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, the newly created international body of reform congregations, was completed following the formal decision of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations to join the World Union. This decision was ratified at the last convention of the Union held in Cleveland.

The Executive Committee of the World Union for Progressive Judaism consists of Claude Montefiore, president; Rabbi Zeligman, Dr. Heinrich Stern of Germany; Dr. Louis Wolsey of Philadelphia; Mrs. J. Walter Freiberg of Cincinnati; Ludwig Vogelstein of New York and Rabbi Israel I. Mattuck of London. Lily Montague is honorary secretary.
