With the return of the delegation sent to Egypt by the World Union of Sephardic Jews at Jerusalem, renewed activity has been started in propaganda intended for overseas. A credit fund is to be created, and £1,300 has already been secured for this purpose, it was announced here. A committee has been formed to draft regulations, and following Government approval shares are to be issued for public subscription. The idea of a Credit Fund has been well received among the Sephardic Jewish community in Palestine, and it is hoped that the sale of shares eventually will be successful.
Added propaganda activity is to be begun abroad in order to secure wider Sephardic Jewish participation in national work in Palestine.
