An emergency meeting of the World Zionist Actions Committee to be held November 4, in London, to deal with the crisis in the Zionist movement created as a result of the government’s statement of policy in Palestine, was decided upon today by the World Zionist Executive, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was informed.
The decision took the form of a resolution after the Executive had been in communication with Leo Motzkin, Chairman of the Committee, who is on the continent. Mr. Motzkin will leave for London at once. It is possible that if the special session of the Actions Committee is well attended the World Zionist Congress, now tentatively scheduled for some time in February, will be postponed to a later date in view of the opposition from various quarters to a Congress for fear that it will interfere with the work of the Keren Hayesod, the chief financial instrumentality of the Jewish Agency, through a mid-Winter campaign.
