Worshippers who gathered at the Wailing Wall for the Friday evening services were surprised when the members of the parliamentary Commission of Inquiry came to the Wall. The visit of the Commission had not been scheduled.
The members also visited the Mosque of Omar area where they were met by the Grand Mufti. It is understood that Mufti welcomed the members of the Commission, saying that he relies upon their justice. The Commission does not sit until Monday, October 28. Yesterday the members made informal visits to various parts of the city.
