A proposal that the bodies of suicides be given to the anatomical institute as a means of frightening off prospective suicides, was suggested by Dr. Bychowski, Zionist and associate magistrate. In a memorandum to the Warsaw kehillah (Jewish community) Dr. Bychowski pointed out that such disposal of suicides’ bodies would also settle the problem of how to provide corpses for the Jewish medical students.
