Yad Vashem’s Web site experienced a record increase in visitors after it posted a database of Holocaust victims. More than 400,000 people visited the Web site of Israel’s Holocaust memorial in the first 24 hours after the database of 3 million victims was posted early this week, more than 10 times the number who usually visit in an entire month, Ha’aretz reported.
