Yaknahaz, Hebrew Writer, Passes Away in Russia at 69

Isaiah Nissan Goldberg, Hebrew writer who was known under the nom de plume of Yaknahaz, died yesterday in Minsk at the age of 69.

The late Yaknahaz started his literary career as a feature and short story writer in the Hebrew press in Russia. Due to his advanced age he received a pension from the White Russian government for the last three years.
