Yehuda Ya’akov, consul for media and public affairs at the Israeli Consulate in New York, is returning to Jerusalem to work on arms control issues in the Foreign Ministry. Ya’akov told journalists and Jewish leaders that during his childhood in New York he never dreamed that one day he would “stand here in Israel’s PR trenches, working 16 hours a day and having such distinguished people” bidding him farewell.
