Wilbur L. Cross, former governor of Connecticut and present Dean Emeritus of the Yale Graduate School, and Dr. Enoch George Payne, Dean of the School of Education of New York University, were the recipients of the honorary degrees of Doctor of Laws and Doctor of Humane Letters, respectively, at the twelfth annual commencement of Yeshiva College which was held here today. Forty-four graduates of Yeshiva College received the degree of Bachelor of Arts, and two graduates of the Yeshiva’s Bernard Revel Graduate School received the higher degree of Doctor of Hebrew Literature. Eighteen prizes were awarded.
