A Yeshiva Farm is the latest ingenious effort to combine the spirit of the traditional Jewish academies of learning with the modern trend in Palestine along the lines of agriculture.
Under the auspices of the Palestine Chief Rabbinate, headed by Rabbi A. I. Kook, the Executive of the Mizrachi Zionist Organization embarked upon a program of creating an agricultural Yeshiva or a Yeshiva Farm. The institution is to be located in the Jewish colony Petach Tikvah and, according to the plan, its students will devote half their time to the learning of the Torah and the other half to agricultural work. The agricultural course will last three years.
